Boris Kopanja
Farmhand on ADELLE SORENSON’S station. Born in BOSNIA, he spent his early childhood there before his parents packed up their children and everything they owned in the middle of the night and fled. KOPANJA still isn’t sure why, but he suspects it was something to do with organised crime in the area. The small family settled in another town and all seemed well, until men with scarves over their faces broke into the family’s house one night and murdered KOPANJA’S’ father right in front of him and his sibling. His mother snatched up her children and ran and didn’t stop running until they ended up in NEW LONDON, where his mother soon died, out of exhaustion and grief for her husband. KOPANJA’S sibling took to drugs and quickly died of an overdose. Lost and without family or a home, KOPANJA drifted aimlessly about. Then he met ADELLE SORENSON, who offered him that family and that home. Since then, he has been devoted to her.
