Re-imagining of the ‘Young’ Gander

Gander is a complex character because when she arrived in New London she identified as male and was called ‘David’ being pre-transition and at that time fairly undecided about image and gender. the ‘Gander’ series will explore that tumultuous time and how Gander gained ownership of the Retrograde Inn and started his/her career as a crime boss (albeit with a good heart). Trying to imagine what he looked like upon arrival is tricky because you can’t just extrapolate backwards age wise. I present a couple of images that I have created to show how ‘Gander’ might have looked as ‘David’
